TSGMoments - U11 with remarkable performance against Wiesbaden and Eintracht

Our TSGU11, which started as E-youth in the D-youth district class, had a total of eight newcomers to integrate, so it was clear that not from the beginning with perfectly coordinated processes to be expected. The boys pulled after a short finding phase in training super and developed constantly.

Both in the league and in the cup, all games could be designed successfully. 9 points from three games, with a goal ratio of 20:3, were on the books.

On the season, our coaches Max Kreiling and Jakob Greb commented as follows: "Especially remembered are the test matches against Wehen Wiesbaden and Eintracht Frankfurt. In the 1-1 draw against Wiesbaden, we dominated the game for a long time and even had the better chances. Unfortunately, we didn't manage to take advantage of them and reward ourselves for a great performance. In the home game against Eintracht Frankfurt, we fell behind by two goals early on, but were still able to keep up well for a long time. In the end, the guests won clearly, which was due to a weaker phase at the beginning of the second half. "

Jakob continued, "I am absolutely convinced that a rematch would have been even better, because the boys have developed incredibly. We have definitely made the leap from children's soccer to youth soccer and are looking forward to the new season tremendously."
